Concrete Plant for Sale Australia: HZS50 Batching Plant Delivered to Regional NSW

Resumen del Proyecto

In May 2025, we delivered and commissioned an HZS50 stationary concrete batching plant for a road and infrastructure contractor near Wagga Wagga, in the Riverina region of New South Wales, Australia. Working on regional road and rural infrastructure projects, the client had been trucking in ready-mix concrete from distant suppliers—driving up costs and limiting daily output.

Rated at 50 m³/h, the HZS50 is compact, easy to run, and produces enough concrete to keep their job sites supplied. We had it up and running before the winter construction season, giving the client full control over their own pour schedule.

The Client’s Situation

The Riverina is farming and transport country. Towns are spread far apart, and the nearest large concrete suppliers can be well over an hour’s drive from a job site. For a contractor working on rural roads and drainage structures, that distance adds up fast: higher delivery costs, less control over timing, and concrete that has already lost some workability by the time it arrives.

The client wanted to bring concrete production in-house. Their key requirements were clear and practical:

Local conditions mattered too. Summers in inland NSW are hot and dry, so mix consistency and water control had to stay stable in the heat, and dust control had to meet local environmental expectations.

Why the HZS50 Was the Right Choice

For a regional contractor, the HZS50 hits a sweet spot. At 50 m³/h, it produces more than enough concrete for road and infrastructure pours without being oversized for the work. A bigger plant would have meant higher cost and more upkeep than this client actually needed.

Here is what made it the right fit:

  • JS1000 twin-shaft mixer — mixes thoroughly and evenly, batch after batch, which is essential for road work that has to meet strength specs every time
  • High weighing accuracy — aggregates batched to within ±2%, and cement, fly ash, water, and additives all controlled to within ±1%, keeping every batch consistent
  • PLD1600 aggregate batcher — feeds the mixer steadily for smooth, continuous production Compact layout — fits neatly into the client’s yard without major site changes
  • Wet-mix design — discharges finished concrete straight into the truck, so quality stays under control even when the next job site is some distance away

That last point matters a lot in a region defined by long travel distances. The client gets fully mixed concrete leaving the plant, not a dry load that has to come together on the road.

Delivery and Installation

The plant was shipped in containers to Port Botany in Sydney, then trucked inland to the client’s site. We planned the layout with the client ahead of time, so once the equipment arrived, the groundwork was already prepared and installation could move quickly.

Our on-site support covered the full process:

  • Assembly and wiring of the plant structure and control system
  • Calibration of the weighing system for accurate, repeatable batching
  • Operator training so the client’s crew could run the plant confidently on their own
  • Maintenance guidance so routine upkeep can be handled locally, without waiting on outside help

We stayed through commissioning to fine-tune everything and made sure the team felt comfortable before we left.

The Result

The plant has been running smoothly and steadily since it went live, comfortably keeping up with the client’s daily pours. By producing concrete on their own site, the contractor has cut out long delivery runs, gained control over their pour schedule, and brought down their per-cubic-metre cost. They now decide when and how much to batch, instead of working around a supplier’s timetable.

The client has been happy with both the equipment and the support around it. For a growing business like ours at CCS, projects like this one are exactly what we aim for: a plant that does the job reliably, and a customer who can run it with confidence long after handover.

“Pouring a high-strength, low-shrinkage concrete foundation for a regional wind turbine project in New South Wales. The exceptional mix homogeneity and precise dosing delivered by our HZS50 plant ensure the strict structural integrity required for these heavy-duty engineering applications.”

escuchar al cliente

“The plant’s been spot on from day one. Easy for the crew to run, and we’re now pouring on our own schedule instead of waiting on deliveries. Couldn’t ask for much more.”
